The Corrections Prerelease Program fulfills our primary purpose: to connect Insiders with Outside AAs. When the Insider is within 3-6 months of release an Outside contact writes to him/her. Upon release, the same Outside contact shares experience, strength, and hope with the newly released Insider, just as with any other person new to A.A. in the community. The service is usually considered complete when the new A.A. finds a sponsor.
