AI & AA
The Area 38 Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ad Hoc Committee investigated the responsible use of AI for our Area. The committee evaluated the benefits of AI, such as improved efficiency and accessibility, against concerns regarding data privacy, anonymity, and accuracy. These suggested guidelines were developed to assist Groups and others that are curious to use AI in AA.
Hybrid Solutions
Many groups are considering how to integrate Virtual Meetings with In-Person Meetings. There is no set way to host a hybrid meeting. We don’t have any official recommendations for equipment, the Technology Committee does have some topics to think about before starting a hybrid meeting. This discussion list will serve as a good starting point for meetings to consider when going hybrid.
How We Work
Our committee meets quarterly at Area Assemblies and monthly online between assemblies. We use Zoom and Slack to communicate between area assemblies.
Join us the 3rd Tuesday of every month – 6 pm online.
